The year is 2200 – a minority of mutants have been terrorising earth.  The government have created a police force to control them.

Scene 1:

Marcus Hammel, Richard Shore, Chris Maxwell, Martin Collins, Stuart Hopkins and Gary Ross are all mutant control police.  They are playing pool in the local pub when their conversation turns to work and people they know.

Marcus:  “If you’ve been getting into trouble again with those idiots, I’m not going to help you out!”

Chris:  “Not to worry… those guys aren’t going to touch me!  They won’t mind waiting for the money a while longer”.

Martin: “Hey… just cause we’re police doesn’t mean they can’t have issues with us!  I’ve heard about these guys – they don’t take shit for long – and if you owe them a few grand they’re going to get it back one way or another”.

Chris:  “… look at it this way – if they punch me about, I can set them up for any offence I want.  Trust me – they won’t try anything!”

Gary:  “Oh fuck!”

Richard:  “What is it?”

Gary:  “Well, I think Chris’s going to find out how much those guys want their money!”

The camera pans over Chris’ shoulder as he lines up a shot.  The three guys he has been talking about have walked into the bar.  Although they are not expecting Chris to be in the bar, they quickly notice the pool table where he is playing.

Chris:  “Shit… just act normal and it’ll blow over, okay?”

Stuart:  “We’re going to keep out of this – don’t involve us in your gambling debts!”

Chris takes his shot and stands up straight knowing that the three men are approaching his table.  He turns around to face them.

Chris:  “Alright guys?  Anyone up for a game of pool?”

Thug 1:  “I would play you – for double or quits – but I’m not too great at pool and you owe me fourteen grand.”

Chris:  “All in good time, man – all in good time!”

Thug 1:  “Stop fucking me around!  Just ‘cause you’ve got your police buddies with you, doesn’t mean we can’t fuck you up!”

Chris:  “Hey… you’ll get your money once it’s ready – I’m working on it!”

Thug 1:  “Well you can start with a deposit if you like!”

Chris:  “Don’t think so… I’m a bit low on the money at the moment!”

Thug 1 leaps forward to grab Chris but Richard and Stuart intervene just as things are getting out of hand.

Barman:  “Hey… take that outside and away from here okay?  I could shout “Citizens in danger” and they’d lock you up tonight!”

Thug 2:  “Okay!… Okay!”  (whispers)  I want that fucking money – tonight!”

Chris looks at the Thugs as Richard and Stuart usher him away.  The camera turns to the Thugs leaving the bar, and then back to Chris and the others.

Richard:  “Now you’ve got us involved!  We don’t want any more grudges with people – being Control-police is enough reason for them to hate us anyway!”

Chris:  “…let’s leave then – that’ll calm things down and everyone will forget it by tomorrow!”

Stuart:  “Finish your fucking game first!  Then we’ll leave!”

Chris pots his last two balls whilst the others put on jackets and check the atmosphere around the bar.  They then begin walking towards the exit of the bar.

Scene 2:

Chris and the others exit the bar and begin arguing with each other on the walk home.

Chris:  “I don’t care what you say – they’re not getting their money now.  They’ve stepped over the mark.”

Richard:  “You’re going to have to watch your back from now on – we’re not getting into a fight.  If anything happens, we can wave goodbye to our jobs – you know that don’t you?”.

Chris:  “This is nothing compared to some of the crap that’s going on in the world already – the police won’t give a shit if you step out of line over a petty argument.”

Stuart:  “Let it go for just now – I’m sick of talking about Chris’s problems!”

Chris and the others begin to walk through a school grounds to get home quicker.  All of a sudden Marcus hears some noises in the close distance.  He stops and turns around – suddenly a dart flies past his face hitting Chris square in the neck.

Marcus:  “What the fuck!? … someone’s shooting at us!”

Martin:  “I think we can guess who’s playing this shooting game!  Start running!”

Martin reveals a gun from his inside jacket pocket and covers the others whilst they run.  Chris joins them but begins to look pale and ill.

Chris:  “Hey wait!”

Chris falls to the ground.  Gary runs to his aid – but another dart hits him in the side.  Gary groans in pain and reaches to take the dart out of his side.  Meanwhile Martin has decided to run as well – but in a different direction in an attempt to save the others from being shot.  Gary is attempting to revive Chris when his eyes begin to roll back and he then collapses to the ground alongside Chris.

Marcus, Richard and Stuart are now running deeper into the school grounds.  They are disorientated after the shock and stop to gain their bearings.

Marcus:  “I say we split up and meet back at Martin and Chris’s house.  We’re like sitting ducks if we stick together.”

Richard:  (breathlessly)  “Right… I’ve got a key for their flat, so I’ll head this way and get there first!”

Marcus:  “Sounds good… I take it Martin was the only one to take his gun out tonight?”

Stuart:  “Yeah… but I doubt it’s going to come in handy anyway.  Those guys are sniping on us – I didn’t see anyone when Chris was shot!”

Richard:  “Where’s Gary?  He was right behind me a minute ago!”

Stuart:  “We can’t go back – it’s a trap!”

Richard:  “… I’m going back!  I’ll give you the keys for the flat and meet up with you later!”

Stuart:  “You’re going to get killed if you go back!”

Marcus:  “(shaking his head)  He’s right!”

Richard:  “You two can go your own way then… (he throws Stuart the keys to the flat)  I’m going back!”

Richard runs back towards Gary and Chris.

Marcus:  “Are we getting out of here then?”

Stuart: “Yeah – I’ll head straight to the flat, okay?”

Marcus and Stuart run in different directions.

Scene 3:

The camera turns back to Martin who is playing his own sniping game by creeping about in the trees surrounding the school grounds.  We get a view of Martin standing with his back to a tree.  We can also see a figure jump from one tree to another in the close distance.

All of a sudden Martin can hear footsteps running into the distance.  He turns to look back in front, and catches a glimpse of someone running around the other side of the school where they could well bump into Stuart.  Martin turns his attention back to the person obviously sniping from the trees.  Amazingly the person runs right by him and Martin takes quick aim with his gun.  As he does so, he steps out from behind the tree and is shot in the back with a dart.  The person who ran right by him, stops and raises a thumb to whoever shot Martin.  He then runs towards the bodies of Chris and Gary

Scene 4:

The camera turns to Stuart who seems to be lost in the school grounds.  He turns a corner and then watches as a shot hits the wall just in front of him. He takes cover behind the wall he just came from.

Stuart:  “Fuck!”  (he sighs to himself)

Stuart looks around the area of the school grounds for a better hiding place, but cannot find anything suitable for hiding behind.  He then looks at a glass door entrance to the school and decides that he should break in.  He grabs a litter-bin sitting nearby and smashes the door.  He runs into the school as we see a person appear from the corner that Stuart had used for cover.

As he runs into one of the main corridors of the school, he notices a different person run into the corridor through another connecting door in front of him.  Stuart decides to hide in the main hall through a door just to his right.

As the door swings back into place, the person who shot at Stuart appears in the corridor.  He almost immediately takes a shot at the person behind the connecting doors but misses him.  He takes a walkie-talkie from his pocket and switches it on.

Thug 2: “Come in… (the walkie-talkie crackles and a voice can be heard saying “go ahead”).  They’re both in the school now.  One of them is in the main hall, the other running down the west side corridor.  I’ll take care of the one in the hall… if you can use school doors 4 and 5 you should corner the other – over”

Thug 2 enters the hall.

Scene 5:

The camera turns to inside the hall where Stuart can be seen clambering into one of the wings of the Main Stage in the hall.  The camera angle also catches Thug 2 entering the hall.

Thug 2 walks into the centre of the hall just as Stuart knocks over a piece of furniture at the back of the stage.  Thug 2 is alarmed and raises his gun towards the stage in anticipation.

All of a sudden, electrical switches hum into life and the curtains on stage begin to open.  Thug 2 appears nervous, but does not panic.

The camera then turns to Marcus who soon walks into the dining room that connects to the hall – it is now clear that the person who was shot at behind the connecting doors was Marcus.  He decides to look around the dining hall for something to use as a weapon.  As he continues the search, he notices Thug 1 approaching what is clearly “School door 4” through the large set of windows that look out of the dining hall.  He hides slightly and watches Thug 1 walk into the school door and head in the wrong direction.  Marcus then notices a rack of knives that could come in handy.  He picks up the most useful looking ones and then turns towards the large sliding doors that clearly connect to the Main hall.  He carefully slides one open to get a view of what’s happening in the hall.

Thug 2 can be seen walking towards one of the stage wings as Stuart waits to emerge from the other.  Thug 2 hides in a corner for the moment when his walkie-talkie crackles.  Thug 2 looks shocked as he attempts to hide even further and mask the noise of the walkie-talkie.

Thug 1 over walkie-talkie:  “Come in… I think we’ve been given the slip – there’s no sign of him – Over”

Thug 2:  “Okay – could do with some back-up in main hall – I think I’m about to flush the other one out – Over.”

Thug 1 over walkie-talkie: “No problem – we’ll put people on doors 4 and 6, and I’ll join you ASAP – over.”

Thug 2 puts away his walkie-talkie as he notices Marcus crawl into the seats at the back of the stage and Stuart hide back into the other wing of the stage.  Thug 2 hides even deeper into the hall and grabs at his walkie-talkie once again.

Thug 2:  “Both targets are in the hall, get over here now!”

Thug 2 puts the walkie-talkie back into his pocket and notices a door that will lead onto the hall floor and a ladder leading to the lighting rigs.  He hides in a corner and slowly opens the door with his outstretched hand.  As the door opens almost completely, he begins to climb up the ladder to the lighting rigs.  The camera turns to Stuart who soon notices Marcus at the back of the hall from the stage wing.  Stuart uses arm signals to warn Marcus of Thug 2 who he knows is hiding up the ladder ready to ambush him.

Marcus nods to Stuart and sneaks towards the open door behind the rows of seating in the hall.  Marcus then creeps up the side of the hall which is made up of large windows and windowed doors, and stays out of view of the lighting rigs.  We then notice Thug 1 in the school grounds behind the window Marcus is creeping beside.  Thug 1 quickly notices Marcus and begins to aim with his dart gun.

The camera turns to Stuart who has seen the exact whereabouts of Thug 2, and he is ready to pounce on him.  Stuart picks up a basketball from behind the stage area and gets closer to Thug 2 who is awaiting Marcus.

Thug 2 takes one last glimpse around the stage area before beginning to line up a shot near the door left open for Marcus.  Stuart notices his opportunity and throws the basketball at Thug 2’s hands.  Stuart catches Thug 2 unawares and he loses grip of his gun.  Stuart and Thug 2 race towards the gun, but Stuart is the quickest and is able to force Thug 2 into the corner with the gun in hand.

Stuart:  “What the fuck are you doing this for, huh?”

Thug 2:  “We found an easier way of getting our money back – plus a lot extra!”

Stuart:  “Someone’s paying you for this?!”

Thug 2:  “We’ve already got your friends anyway – you might as well give up and join them!”

Stuart:  “That’s not quite right…  Marcus!!”  (Stuart waits for an answer)  Marcus!!!”

Thug 2:  “I think my plan’s working out better than yours!”

Stuart:  “Fuck you!!”

Stuart raises the gun to Thug 2’s throat just as Thug 1 appears through the door.  Stuart then notices Thug 3 behind him, but before he can react he is shot in the shoulder.  He looks straight into the eyes of Thug 1 before letting go of Thug 2 and slowly falling to the ground unconscious.

Fade out.

Scene 6:

The scene opens with Marcus awakening in a large, strange science laboratory.  The camera then pans back to show him collapse out of a strange cubicle.  Marcus notices people standing around the laboratory and begins to become more aware of his surroundings.

Marcus:  “What’s going on?”

The scientist:  “Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon.  Just do as your told for the time being.”

The scientist looks towards two of the people in the laboratory and signals for them to go over to Marcus.

The scientist:  “Be careful – don’t move him too fast!”

Thug 1 and Thug 2 rush over and grab Marcus by an arm each.  They then take him over to another strange looking cubicle where he is stood up and locked behind an air-tight door.

Marcus:  “What are you doing to me?”

The scientist:  “I’m about to change things for you and your friends.”

Marcus flexes his fingers and notices a blue glow appear when ever he does it.

Marcus:  “My hands…?”

The scientist:  “That’s your gift now!”

Marcus:  “You’re that sick fucking mutant – Gates isn’t It?!”

Dr. Gates (aka. The Scientist):  “Yes… and you’re my next.”

Marcus:  “You’ve made me into a fucking mutant!”

Dr. Gates:  “Keep your head about you – you’re going to need it!”

Dr. Gates then turns on a switch at the side of the cubicle and light begins to appear from the bottom of the cubicle.  The light paralyses Marcus as it encompasses his body.  He begins to scream, but the light covers him and he disappears.

Scene 7:

Marcus awakens once again, but everything around him is dark – he gasps for air as he suddenly begins to tumble down a strange tube of light.  He continues to slide down this strange tube but it eventually stops and Marcus is dropped into a strange place…

He looks around to get his bearings…

Marcus:  “(looking shocked and out of breath) Oh no… this isn’t funny!”

The camera pans back to show a large facility that looks suspiciously like a high-security prison.  Alarms begin to ring around the grounds that Marcus is standing in.  A number of Mutant Control police soon appear from the building brandishing strange weapons with rolls of netting at the end of them.

Policeman 1:  “Don’t move!”

The control police launch one of these nets over Marcus’s head and pull him closer.

The net is then removed and Marcus is put into a set of computerised handcuffs.

Marcus:  “This is all a big mistake… I work for mutant control!”

Policeman 2:  “Very funny!”

Marcus:  “It’s true – I’ve been changed by Dr. Jeremy Gates!”

Policeman 2:  “Who the fuck is Jeremy Gates!”

Marcus:  “He’s all over the papers – he does this to control police and anti-mutant protestors!”

Policeman 1:  “Forget it – and shut up!”

Marcus keeps quiet, as he is lead to a cell in the prison.  Other mutants can be seen in their cells attempting to break out – others are less agitated and simply watch as Marcus is led away.  The policemen throw him into a cell and then onto an operating table in the middle.

Policeman 2:  “I don’t recognise him!”

Policeman 1:  “So you think he just jumped into the compound so he could be locked up!”

Policeman 2:  “He could have – I wouldn’t want to be a mutant on the streets during the next few weeks!”

Policeman 1:  “What can you do mutant?  If you tell us we can save kicking the shit out of you!  Sound good?”

Marcus:  (thinking quickly)  “I can jump high… that’s all. And you’re right I didn’t want to be on the streets.”

Policeman 1:  “Okay… this is your new cell.  If you keep your mouth shut and keep out of trouble, we might let you live for a while!”

Marcus:  “Okay.”

Scene 8:

The camera pans round the prison a few hours after Marcus has been caught.  He knows he must discover his secret powers and escape as soon as possible…

Marcus looks at his fingers and starts moving them about slowly.

Marcus:  “(talking to himself) I must be able to do something!”

The camera pans down to his fingers where a small, blue glow is building up in his hands.  Marcus then begins moving his arms as the glow begins to grow.  The blue glow eventually lights up the cell and other prisoners quickly awaken to see what is happening.  Whispering soon starts and Marcus stops waving his arms so that he can listen properly…

Prisoner 1:  “(whispering) He’s a glower!”

Prisoner 2:  “Hey, glower!  Get us out of here!”

Marcus:  (looking puzzled)  “How?”

Some prisoners begin laughing…

Prisoner 2:  “Blow the god damn wall up or something – it’s up to you!”

The prisoners begin laughing again…

Marcus:  “I don’t know how to!”

The prisoners laugh even more…

Prisoner 1:  “Look, just concentrate – did your daddy not teach you the basics?”

Marcus:  “This is new to me – how do I blow things up?”

Prisoner 1:  “Okay… listen to me.  Move your hands about ‘til you’ve got that big glowing ball again.  Then, you collect it and throw it at the wall!  It’s easy – but I want you to do something in return!”

Marcus:  “What’s that?”

Prisoner 1:  “You’ve got to let us out as well!  All you need to do is throw some of your blue at the control panel at the end of the corridor.”

Marcus:  “You sure that’ll work?”

Prisoner 1:  “Of course it will – people have done it before.  They’re supposed to keep glowers in different prisons from this one, but I’m not complaining.  Right, you’re going to do this!”

Marcus:  (nodding to himself)  “Okay – this is my first time though!”

The prisoners laugh even more…

Prisoner 2:  “Just lie back and think of prison!”

Marcus begins to work up a huge ball of blue light and faces the cell door.

Prisoner 1:  “Stop there! That’s more than enough… go for it now!”

Marcus concentrates on the ball and throws it towards the cell door.  The blue light explodes the cell door with ease as rubble and dust begins to fall.  The air eventually clears and Marcus is standing in a huge gap in the prison interior – he as even destroyed the walls of the cells surrounding his.

Prisoner 2:  “What are you waiting for – they guards will be here in a minute… let us out!!!!”

Marcus quickly whips up a much smaller ball of energy and runs nearer the control panel.  The prisoners take cover as Marcus eventually unleashes the ball of energy.  The panel explodes and alarms are instantly ringing around the building.  The prison cell doors all open and mayhem ensues with guards rushing in and battling with prisoners.  Marcus decides that taking the high route is a much better way to escape and heads towards the roof of the building.

He eventually emerges at the door to the roof and destroys it with his powers.  Once the dust has settled, he runs onto the roof to work on his escape plan.

He reaches the edge of the roof and realises he still has the security walls to clear.

He looks behind him as guards begin to reach the door.  He then decides he must make his move now and thinks quickly to himself.

Marcus:  “(talking to himself)  Okay – I’m a mutant… I’m more or less a super-hero! I can fly – right?”

Marcus then walks back slightly more and starts to run on the spot to build up blue power in his legs and arms.  He runs towards the roof edge screaming his head off as the adrenaline begins to flow.  He reaches the edge and jumps…

Unfortunately he cannot fly, and instead he plummets to the ground in a flash of blue energy.  He leaves a huge hole in the ground, but he is not injured and climbs up to the ground.  Having failed at flying, Marcus decides to escape the prison by simply blowing up the security walls with a huge ball of energy.

He escapes from the prison grounds and heads towards what he thinks will be his flat near the centre of town…

Scene 9:

The scene is set in a very quiet residential area where the sun is shining, the birds are tweeting, and the only vehicle in sight is a Dark Grey van sitting on a slip road near a bus stop.  The camera pans towards the van where we can hear voices.  As the camera reaches the van, Martin comes into shot.  The van door is open and Richard, Gary and Stuart can be seen checking equipment inside the vehicle.  Richard and Gary step out of the van holding a variety of objects…

Martin:  “So what have we got then?”

Stuart:  “Well there’s a heap of equipment – some of it looks like weaponry.  There’s also these communicator things.”

Stuart throws Martin a communicator.  Martin switches it on, but doesn’t look impressed.

Martin:  “…What the hell is going on… (looking stressed) this is unbelievable!  There’s nothing we can do if we don’t know where we are!”

Stuart:  “Would you shut up!  Once we find a map we’ll be fine.”

Richard:  “…this thing looks like some sort of blunderbuss!  I guess we’re going to have some fighting on our hands.”

Stuart:  “Wait a minute… here’s something interesting!”

Richard:  “What is it?”

Stuart:  “It’s a monitor… linked up to a DVD player.  And there seems to be a DVD for us to watch…”

Stuart manages to find a switch for the monitor, and the rest of the gang climb into the van to see what happens…

Stuart:  “This all seems too organised for him not to give us some sort of idea what we’re supposed to do.  I’m guessing this DVD’s got something on it.”

Stuart presses play on the DVD player and takes a seat in the front of the van.  He watches on as Dr. Gates appears on the monitor…

Dr. Gates:  “You may have guessed already that you’re all playing a part in an organised experiment!  All this equipment was made for your use…and there are manuals in this van to show you how to use each piece.

There’s only one objective to this experiment, and it doesn’t matter how you complete it.

Right now, you are in an alternate future where, unfortunately, mutant control is very strict.  I’ve left you in this area of the city because it has recently been flushed clean of all mutant residents.  There are very few people left in this area, but you should watch out for robotic control police who operate every 6 hours during the day.  Their next visit will take place at approximately midday, so I suggest you move on well before then…

Richard:  “Stuart… what time is it?”

Stuart:  “My watch is broken – I don’t know.”

Martin:  “Wait a minute… it’ll probably say on these communicators… Oh Shit!  It’s five minutes to twelve!”

Stuart glances down the road they are sitting adjacent to and begins to look worried .

Stuart:  “Grab all that stuff we took out and get your arses back in here!”

Gary and Richard leap out of the van and start packing the equipment back into the car.  As they do so, a blue light starts flashing on a post at the edge of the slip road…

Stuart:  “Hurry the fuck up… they must be on their way!”

Every one is eventually bundled into the van with Stuart and Martin sitting at the front of the van.  Richard and Gary slam the double doors behind them and start gazing out of the back and front window.  Stuart switches on the car engine and begins moving the car onto the main road…

Stuart:  “Richard – have a look for those manuals that Gates was talking about we might need them in a minute!”

Stuart moves onto the road just as a strange engine noise can be heard in the distance…

Stuart:  “Where’s that noise coming from?”

Martin:  “Who cares – just start driving!”

Stuart:  “We don’t want to drive straight into them – do we!  Where’s the noise coming from?!”

Martin looks at the communicator on his lap, which is suddenly making a constant bleeping noise…  He picks it up to see a radar screen with a number of blue blobs appearing at random places on the map…

Martin:  “This thing acts as a radar and a map as well…

Stuart:  “And!…”

Martin:  “They’re coming from pretty much every direction…”

Stuart:  “Well help me out here, for fuck’s sake – where shall I go?!”

Martin:  “Head down the hill – there’s only a small blob in that direction.”

Stuart takes Martin’s advice and quickly heads down the road… Just as they pass the first road to their right, a police officer on a bike appears from the street and starts speeding towards them…

Richard:  “I’ve found the manuals!”

Stuart:  “…Lock and load one of those weapons – we’ve got someone on our tail!”

Stuart looks into his wing mirror where a strange, robotic person riding a futuristic bike can be seen rapidly approaching the van.

Richard:  “Gary – go and give me that blunderbuss thing we were looking at – I’ve found the instructions!”

Gary finds the huge blunderbuss and quickly hands it to Richard.  Gary then looks out the back window…

Gary:  “I can see him – he’s catching up really quickly!”

Richard:  “This thing is mental!”

Gary:  “What do you mean?”

Richard:  “You can wear a protective suit with this and shoot yourself off – so to speak!”

Gary looks puzzled, but then notices a cabinet to his left.

Gary:  “We just need an ordinary weapon – nothing as lethal as that!”

Gary opens the cabinet to reveal a set of modified shot guns amongst other less obvious weaponry…  He picks one up and sits down on the floor of the van.

Gary:  “This is more like it… they’re already loaded.  Richard – open that back door when I say!”

Richard stands up, staying out of view of the police bike.  He looks towards Gary for the signal, and he obliges with a three count…  Richard opens the back door and Gary unloads with a shot straight to the robot’s mid section just as the bike is reaching the van’s bumper.  As the shot is unleashed, Gary is thrown to the back of the van and Stuart loses control of the van.  As the van veers from side to side, Richard loses his footing and falls out.  He manages to grab onto the inside of the open van door as equipment looks set to fall out of the back.

Gary:  “Brake the van!”

Stuart:  “Why?!”

Gary:  “Just do it – now!”

Stuart hits the brakes and the equipment and Richard come flying back into the van.  Richard hits the floor, but Gary is able to look immediately out of the van to assess the damage on their approaching enemy.  Gary looks out to see the robot with a large buzz-saw blade stuck into his shoulder.  Gary looks down at his weapon…

Gary:  “This isn’t a shotgun – it’s shooting buzz-saw blades!”

Martin:  “It doesn’t matter what it’s shooting!  As long as it takes out that biker!”

The police bike then drives up a raised path at the side of the road and continues its race against the van.

Gary:  “He’s going up the path to the side of the road – watch he doesn’t go for you Stuart!”

Martin:  “I think we’re coming to the end of this patrol area…”

Stuart:  “How do you work that out?”

Martin:  “Most of the blue dots are at the end of this road now, and we’ve got the rest of them closing in behind!”

Stuart:  “(sighs)…great!… Check some more of those manuals – we need more weapons.”

As Stuart looks out his side window he can see the biker rapidly catching up.  Stuart notices the end of the path where the bike has to come back down to his level…

Stuart:  “He’s running out of path up there – give Martin one of those guns!”

As Stuart reaches the end of the pathway, he slows the van down allowing the biker to pull in front of him.  Martin then lines up a shot from his side of the van with the weapon he’s been given…

Martin:  “I’ve got him!”

Martin fires a buzz-saw blade that flies into the back wheel of the bike.  The front of the vehicle then rises violently, throwing the robotic police officer into the air.

Martin:  “Woaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

The police officer lands on top of the van and Gary and Richard wait to see him fall off at the back of the van… After a few seconds they realise he is still on the van…

Richard:  “He’s on the fucking roof!”

Stuart:  “…Someone shoot him then!  I’m trying to drive the van here!”

Martin:  “Look!  They’ve set up a road block!”

Stuart:  “Get a weapon for God’s sake!”

As Stuart argues with Martin, Richard has opened up the sunroof at the back of the van and has the massive blunderbuss style weapon at the ready.  As he sticks his top section out of the sunroof, he finds the robot clambering up the side of the van.  Richard readies the blunderbuss as he supports his body.  The robot has noticed the roadblock and as he turns round, he sees the blunderbuss in his face.  Richard moves the weapon closer to the robot and unleashes its power.  With that, the blunderbuss sends the robot flying into the roadblock, destroying a whole section of vehicles blocking the road.  Stuart steers the van through the gap and continues driving in the same direction.

Scene 10:

The scene is set in a quiet park.  We see someone lying face down in the grass as the camera pans down towards the person.  As it reaches the ground we realise that the person is Chris, and he is not well.

He awakes with an obvious headache and gets onto his knees.  He holds his head in agony as his body turns green as grass, then brown as soil.

He soon gets to his feet and sets off towards an industrial area where there is some commotion.

Scene 11:

We return to Marcus who is still on the run from the police.  He is now in an industrial area with high buildings and narrow streets.  After running into the car park of a nearby building, he hears a loud noise which is revealed as a large tank.  Marcus maintains his position as the tank rolls round to face him.  He begins to raise a ball of energy with his hands in anticipation, but finds himself cut short by a rocket fired by the tank.  He lets off the ball of energy as soon as he can, but he is too slow and finds himself thrown into the side of a wall.  As the tank gets nearer to him he sees something shooting through the ground towards the tank like a torpedo.

A stone coloured person emerges from the ground just in front of the tank and produces a large, stone staff from his arm.  The person then rams the staff down the tank’s turret – piercing a shell that makes the vehicle explode in a huge ball of flames.  As the flames pass the stone man’s body, he turns into a flame man and laughs at the destruction in front of him.

Mutant police officers turn the corner to face the flame man.

A battle ensues between the man and the mutant police.  The police shoot him and try to capture him in nets, but he wins the battle easily by disappearing into the ground and reappearing behind the officers.

After a short spell of fighting, the man turns to Marcus.  He turns back into stone man with no facial features and squares up to Marcus.

As they square-up, Marcus twiddles his fingers readying himself for a fight.  As the two get ever closer, Stuart and the rest of the gang turn the corner in the van.  The stone man drops into the ground and disappears just as Stuart and Martin notice him.

Stuart pulls the car up to Marcus and gets out.

Stuart:  “(smiling) Are you okay?”

Marcus:  “Yeah… how did you find me?”

Stuart:  “Ahh…(holds up a communicator) we’ve got the technology!”

Scene 12:

We see the stone man appear from the ground in a quiet shopping area.  People look mystified as he appears from nowhere.  He walks down the road looking in shop windows.  He then stops at shop selling knives and other kitchen utensils.  He then pushes his hand against the glass and pushes into the shop window to grab a knife.

As he turns himself out of the glass form he has taken, we see the man is in actual fact Chris.  He then makes his hand resemble a large knife before walking down the street again.
